Captain Condor was a strip created by Frank Pepper and Ronald Forbes about a valiant spaceship pilot in the year 3000 who was rather like Dan Dare, which appeared in the pages of IPC's Lion comic from 1952 onwards. (Lion was designed to compete with Eagle and Condor was basically the comic's answer to Dare). One of the artists who worked on the strip was Brian Lewis. Some Captain Condor strips were later reprinted in other titles including a Star-Lord Annual in the early eighties.
