- Leather Armor is a light chestpiece in Dragon Age: Origins. It is part of the Leather Armor Set.

Leather armor provides more protection than cloth armor, but less than mail or plate armor. At level 40 both hunters and shamans are able to wear mail armor. Warriors and paladins can wear leather, but usually choose not to, due to its lower defense value than mail and plate. However, a Warrior or Paladin specced for DPS or healing may choose to use Leather Armor if the stats are an improvement in damage or healing; as a tanking class will be taking most of the damage in a group, the high mitigation provided by plate armor may not be necessary for a DPS or healer.

The second method is by entering Hellena Prison for the second time and locating a chest from which this armor is present. If you miss this chest and return later, you can still retrieve the item. Also, do note that these are the only ways to obtain it and so it is a very limited armor.

- Leather armor is mostly used by Rangers, Assassins, Technists and Gunslingers . They create a balance between agility and decent defense.
- First appearance: Sprite: The Leather Armor is an equippable item that appears in Bomberman Quest. When it is equipped, it reduces the amount of damage that Bomberman takes from Chaos Bomber's attacks by one half.
- Leather Armor is a type of Armor that can be made with the tailoring skill from levels 5-7. Leather Arms give 6 AR, Leather Legs give 13, and Leather Breasts give 16. A full set of Leather Armor thus provides a total of 35 AR. One can achieve a slightly higher AR value by wearing Leather Arms over a Robe of Protection, for a combined AR of 36. Just over a year later, in the May 2013 update, Leather Breast AR was reduced to 16. Since then, the armor values have not changed.

- A Leather Armor is the first Armor-class bodywear available in both Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age. It is sold in armor vendors at Bilibin, Imil, and Kolima in Golden Sun and at Alhafra and Garoh in The Lost Age. Being an Armor-class piece of body protection, a Leather Armor can be equipped on warrior-style Adepts, namely Isaac and Garet in the first game, along with Felix and Piers in the second. It increases the equipped Adept's base Defense rating by 12 points. Its buy value is 240 coins and its sell value is 180 coins.
