Jerry Cantrell, Mike Inez and Sean Kinney are the only former Alice in Chains members peforming on the album, as their original singer Layne Staley unexpectedly died of a apparent heroin/cocaine overdose in April 2002. There has been no word on whether William DuVall, who has been touring with the band as his replacement, will record it.
