| - John Kelly (1904 - 19th May 1977) was an Irish actor who appeared on Coronation Street between June and August 1961 as pensioner Michael Courtney. His long list of credits, dating back to the 1940s include television roles in BBC Sunday-Night Theatre, Armchair Theatre, Emergency-Ward 10, Scotland Yard, Harpers West One and Z Cars. On the big screen he appeared in Another Shore, Murder in the Cathedral, The Black Knight, I've Gotta Horse, Where's Jack?, Chisum and Conflict.

Kelly was a fan of the New York Yankees baseball team, and regretted he would never know who won the World Series in 2032.
