- The Moon Palace is an evil outer space palace that is the main residence as well as lair of both the alien witch Rita Repulsa and her emperor-turned husband Lord Zedd. It is one of the most well-known villainous locations in the Power Rangers universe since its first appearance and stay in the original 3 seasons of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

- If you fly Flammie over the big black circle, you will find out that you cannot land in the middle of it; in front of the Moon Palace. Instead, you will have to land near the border of it. Do so. Go north and enter Karon's ferry-a friendly Robin Foot brings you to the Moon Palace. Karon will be waiting so you can go inside the palace. Avoid the Marmablues; they have a Magic Absorb spell. When you go through the door, you will arrive in a seemingly-empty, black, full-of-Marmablues area. There is a Crystal Orb in here. To find it, you will have to walk around until you stumble upon it. Or, from the entrance, head one screen up and go all the way left/right. Sylphid's Analyzer indicates that Lumina's magic will work. Let the girl cast Lucent Beam for the room to turn "normal". The next room is the stage room! Head north and you will find an elemental. This time it is Luna, the moon elemental. Without hesitation, she bestows her powers upon both magic users.

The Dark Crystal is housed in a large chamber located in the darkest areas of the palace; it is in this very room that Dark Alpha was created, sent to deal with the Rangers and infect the Command Center with the Crystal's power. After years of failures, Lord Zedd returned and found the palace. He modified the outer appearance of the palace with images of himself and his culture and set up another throne room higher in the towers, with only one throne due to wanting to do away with Rita at the time. Zedd used this as his base while he attempted to conquer Earth and use his Dark Crystal to contaminate it. Rita used her knowledge of the palace to regain access to it as Zedd slept in order to secretly create a love potion and marry him. Alpha was infused with the power of the Dark Crystal and brainwashed here as well. The palace later fell under attack by King Mondo and his forces and was damaged beyond repair, which didn't stop Zedd and Rita from trying to sell it.

During her original attacks on Earth, Rita and her servants often spent their time on the observation balconies, which gave Rita the perfect place to set up her Extreme Long Range telescope and spy on the Power Rangers. When Lord Zedd returned to conquer the Earth himself, he claimed a higher floor of the Moon Palace and turned it into his personal throne room, which became the new preferred location for everybody to meet. Other major areas in the palace included a large laboratory where Finster worked to create monsters and other evil devices, dungeons for containing intruders, and various doorways to other dimensions (which Rita and Zedd used regularly to trap humans and the Rangers in). In the beginning of Power Rangers Zeo, the Moon Palace fell under attack by the Machine Empire, which forced Zedd and Rita to abandon their home as it was reduced to a barely-standing wreck, which they put up for sale. Whether or not they moved back in after Zeo was unknown, though a scene in Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie featured Zedd and Rita trying to get some sleep in a room that may or may not have been a part of the palace. At the end of Power Rangers in Space, the Moon Palace was presumably abandoned and/or destroyed.
