Like Lemony Snicket's original narration, and the publisher summaries, this song warns against continuing the dreadful story any further. The middle portion of the lyrics changes depending on which book is being portrayed in the episode. In every second part of each book adaptation, Harris sings the song in character as Count Olaf's current disguise.

- The Look Away was originally thought up by Aoki Masaru in his first title match. It is a simple technique that is also extremely effective because it plays on the opponents own reflexes and can be extremely hard to avoid falling to. The fighter stops what he is doing abruptly and looks off to the side which causes the opponent's boxing sense to make him look to the side as well. In Aoki's case the look away is followed by his signature Frog Punch.
- Look Away is a 1 vs. 3 mini-game from Mario Party 2.
