The online Star Wars comics are a series of animated comics on LEGO.com that started in 2008 to depict stories about characters set in the Clone Wars universe. Many of the stories involve characters from the Clone Wars, similar to the series on Cartoon Network. However, the more recent additions to the list have been stories from The Quest for R2-D2, meant to tie into the the comics of the same title from the LEGO Club magazine. Sometimes, the comics have been referred to as different "episode"s. So far, Clone Wars Clone Troopers have appeared in every comic. In 2011, the comics names are changed to episodes as which every season would have. In 2012, a comic was released and took place in a different era and it renamed itself as the online Star Wars comics.
