Eri Fungi are an evolutionary offshoot of the Bomb Pod Fungi. Unlike its evolutionary cousin, Eri Fungi presents no explosive chemicals and are nontoxic. They typically grow in dank regions and eat mainly bacteria and moisture surrounding it. When no bacteria or moisture are present, Eri Fungi shoots out seeds that grow and connect to the primary fungi to find bacteria to feed on, expanding the Eri Fungi roots. Because of this, Eri Fungi usually die off within 3 days of growth when no bacteria or moisture can be found. Eri Fungi turn the bacteria into nutrients allowing the fungi to typically grow an average of 4 feet. Eri Fungi are the only known edible fungi that exist in X-nel XI/Exosia.
