- Starfire (星の炎, Hoshi no Honō, lit. Star's Flame, or Flames of [the] Stars) is the third track of DragonForce's Valley of the Damned (2003) album. It's lyrics were written by Sam Totman and ZP Theart and the music of the song was written by Sam Totman. It is often confused with the demo version of the song which can, sometimes, easily told apart, being that in the 2003 version when ZP Theart sings the beginning of the song, he has an echoe effect in his voice, while, in the demo version, he does not have that effect.

- Starfire is an alien member of the Teen Titans who left her home planet to explore the reaches of space, and make it with hot pale-skinned human males. - Starfire is just a shy, quiet, friendly Autobot. Raised in Iacon, she has a strong sense of right and wrong. But, she is not a fighter, preferring to support her comrades with repairs and recharging. She is not very big in either mode, and has taken the form of a small medical carrier, able to carry supplies and little else. She has no weapons, and so has to rely on others for protection, or just has to avoid conflict. She doesn't like to run, but she is smart enough not to fight if she has little chance of winning.
- Tamaran's Princess Koriand'r was the second of three children. Her older sister, Komand'r proved unable to fly, so she was deemed not worthy to be queen and the succession fell to Koriand'r. When both sisters were sent to train with the legendary Warlords of Okaara, the bitter Komand'r ran off, allying herself with the Citadel. They used Komand'r's information to successfully invade the planet Tamaran. King Myand'r turned Koriand'r over to the Citadel to ensure peace. Koriand'r endured six years of torture until she and Komand'r were both released for experimentation by the Psions. Both sisters escaped, with Koriand'r finding her way to Earth with the help of the Teen Titans. She chose to remain with the team and took the name Starfire.
- Easily being a contender for one of the fastest Decepticons alive, Starfire was created from the same prototype that made Jetfire, his arch-nemesis. Although vastly modified, he still suffers from the same experimental (and therefore, unreliable) technology of the original prototype. When in space, Starfire consumes quite a lot of fuel, which, if he's not careful, can leave him stranded. In jet mode, he has an inverted wing design, allowing him to fly at speeds up to Mach 5. With a set of extra fuel tanks and independent rocket boosters, he is able to whip himself around Earth's gravity and fling himself to space. It's a rather dangerous 'slingshot' move, but he generally doesn't care. In space, he can kick in his FTL engines and fly at speeds of Mach 25. During combat, he has three modes
- Starfire is a Legendary wand for the Wizard in Diablo III. It requires character level 8 to drop. As of patch 2.4.2, it gained a unique legendary affix (as a free seventh property). It works similarly to Zei's Stone of Vengeance: Lightning damage taken by an enemy is increased based on distance to the Wizard at the moment of the damage being resolved at the moment of inflicting it (not at the moment of cast). As such, it is most useful for the kiting builds, and synergizes well with Halo of Karini or Power Hungry.
- Starfire is a hex-map-based wargame, focused on combat between fleets of space ships. Building ships and fighting between individual ships was originally designed to be almost painfully simple, so that the players could focus on fleet tactics. As the game evolved, however, the rules grew more complex, until players needed to keep track of almost as much information per ship as in Star Fleet Battles. (Which, coincidentally, was originally written by the same author).
- Despite her beauty, Starfire is cheerful, naive, and somewhat insecure, but her naivete is not to be mistaken for stupidity. An alien and an outsider, she is still rather new to Earth and its customs. (For example, she did not understand what a boy meant when he asked if she was "diggin' the scene" when she was at a party, and stated, confused, "I did not know we were supposed to bring shovels.") This leads to much confusion for her and others, such as the awkwardness in casually drinking mustard as a beverage, and thinking cotton candy and cotton balls are the same thing. She takes friendship very seriously, and is easily distressed when others, especially her friends, argue or fight. Starfire is particularly indignant to the point of snubbing her teammates when she believes they do not c
- Once when they were training, Komand'r tried to kill Koriand'r and thus was expelled from Tamaran forever. She swore vengeance; the vengeance in which she swore became that of which is called a reality when she leaked concept art for the defense systems on Tamaran to the enemy in which is called the Citadel. They easily conquered Tamaran and within the surrender conditions Koriand'r was selected to be a prisoner. However, she escaped and made some sort of escape pod and crash landed on Earth. This proves that women cannot drive no matter what planet they originate from.
