The Medal of Dishonor is the award given to stupid people in the military. It is only awarded to people who seem to go out of their way to do stupid stuff because they're that stupid. The medal was first created by Napoleon Bonaparte when only 4 of his soldiers were actually fighting. The rest were drinking wine and singing songs about Lucky Charms. The medal has since been adopted by every country in the world except for Dinosaur World (which just has one big medal of dishonor for everyone).

More specifically, it is criticized for the fact that it makes people feel inferior and stupid. They were then told "The truth hurts, doesn't it?" and given medals of their own. The critics then burned their medals, just like most recipients do. Of course, the really dumb ones think they're "purrrrty shiny things" and display them prominently.
