His concert activity is constant and actie. V. Yankovsky repeatedly plays as a doloist or as a participator of different ensembles. In 1987 he was marked eith "The Honored Artist of Russia". V. Yankovsky combines his instrumental practice with the pedagogic activity. He has worked in the Novosibirsk State Conservatorie named after Mp I. Glinka since 1976 to 1999. Since 1987 he teaches clarinet ensemble class in Novosibirsk Specialized Music School (college). There are layreates of different international, all-Russian and regional competitions among his pupils.
