Idga Drayqueen was the wife of Squirrelking Araltum and mother of Roopert. She was as fat, spoilt, selfish and lazy as her husband and son, if not even more. It was she who sewed the Squirrelking's Royal Banner. On a parade, this banner and its thirty carriers were ambushed by Gulo the Savage and his horde. Almost all of the squirrels on this parade were killed, except for Idga, Araltum and two squirrels called Driltig and Pinetooth. In an amazing act of selfishness, Idga and Araltum were more upset about their Banner's loss than they were about the deaths of their servants.

| - Idga Drayqueen was the wife of Squirrelking Araltum and mother of Roopert. Two warrior squirrels in the service of Araltum, Rakkety Tam MacBurl and Wild Doogy Plumm, decided they would go out to retrieve the banner, on condition that they were released from their bondage and given rein to roam free. Idga agreed reluctantly. On Tam and Doogy's return, Idga and Araltum were deposed and ordered to allow their subjects to live a free life.
