Ed Staniowski (born July 7, 1955 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan) was a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender in the National Hockey League. He played for the major junior Regina Pats from 1971-75, winning the Memorial Cup in 1973-74, In 1974-75 Staniowski was the Canadian Hockey League's player of the year. He was chosen 27th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 1975 NHL Amateur Draft. In the NHL Stanioswki played for the Blues, Winnipeg Jets, and Hartford Whalers. He played in 219 games as well as many games at the minor league level. Staniowski retired in 1985.
