Team Overthrow is a team that appeared in the second shop tournament held at Card Capital during episodes 37 and 38. The team consists of Taishi Miwa, Yuta Izaki, Katsumi Morikawa, and Emi Sendou. It was Shin Nitta's idea to have them "overthrow" the competition and replace the A-Block finalists with themselves to go against Q-4 in the finals. After the match, Miwa returns to his street clothes and chases down Kai and talks to him for the rest of the episode about Aichi.

The team consists of Taishi Miwa, Yuta Izaki, Katsumi Morikawa, and Emi Sendou. It was Shin Nitta's idea to have them "overthrow" the competition and replace the A-Block finalists with themselves to go against Q-4 in the finals. Episode 37 shows Misaki's match is against Morikawa, and Morikawa is obviously defeated. The next match, also in episode 37, is Kamui vs. Emi; Kamui, not being able to handle himself when he's around Emi, is defeated. And finally, episode 38 shows the majority of Miwa's facing off against Aichi in the final round of the tournament. This is also Miwa's first cardfight shown in the anime. Aichi is barely able to defeat Miwa in his Kagero Dragonic assault. After the match, Miwa returns to his street clothes and chases down Kai and talks to him for the rest of the episode about Aichi.
