For now, his exact motivations are unclear, but it was revelated that at least part of it was to bring figments into the real world to be able to kill those he dislikes. It should be noted that, as stated by Santa Claus, he is constantly increasing his own power using Christmas Spirit, which is generated by making people act how they would during a regular Christmas time. For this reason, he can be much more powerful with enough prep time than what is displayed on this page.
