| - Dorothy was a card dealer at a casino in Atlantic City where Matt Mills visited on June 8, 1997. The two bantered and flirted while Matt managed a winning streak. After Matt beat the odds and won one final hand, he took his winnings and left. Dorothy urged him not to quit after a win, but Matt wistfully decided his luck was about to run out. Sadly, Matt was murdered attempting to hitchhike his way home afterwards. Dorothy's whereabouts in 2003, when Matt's murder was solved, are unknown.
- Dorothy was a young prostitute on the HBO original series True Blood. Played by Australian guest starring actress Melanie Camp, Dorothy was seen in a flashback working at the Comstock Brothel in the early 1900s, under Madam Pamela Swynford de Beaufort. Glamoured by vampires Lorena Krasiki and Bill Compton, Dorothy narrowly escapes an untimely demise, and appears only on the episode "Whatever I Am, You Made Me" in the series' fifth season. __TOC__
- Dorothy is a senior who is in a wheelchair. She lives at Hal Roach Apartments. In G.I. (Annoyed Grunt), Abraham Simpson tells Homer that her daughter comes to visit her every Sunday and brings "all kinds of wonderful soups".
- Dorothy the Yellow Chicks is the name of all of Billina's female chicks, named after her dear friend Dorothy Gale. (The Road to Oz)
