Kenechi Nduka Udeze (/kəˈnɛtʃi uːˈdɛzeɪ/; born March 5, 1983) is a former American college and professional football player who was a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for four seasons during the early 2000s. He played college football for the University of Southern California (USC), and was recognized as an All-American. The Minnesota Vikings picked Udeze in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft, but was forced to retire in 2008 after he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
