  • There were 337 member states of the United Systems since the formation of it in 4 ABY, and each one of them was a member of the United Systems General Assembly. According to the United Systems Charter, Chapter II, Article 8: 1. * Membership in the United Systems is open to all peace-loving states which accept the obligations and principles contained in the present charter and, in the judgement of the organization, are able and willing to carry out the obligations. 2. * The admission to any such state to membership in the United Systems will be affected by a decsicion of the General Assemble and the Security Council, upon the recommendation of three or more other states. In addition to the member states, the US also invited non-member states, intergovernmental organizations, and other intergalactic organizations and entities whose statehood or sovereignity was not precisely defined, to become observers at the General Assembly, allowing them to participate and speak, but not vote, in General Assembly meetings.
