Glice (ガルアイス, Galice in Japan) is an enemy in the Subspace Emissary mode of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It looks like a medium-sized black tire with an eye in the middle. It moves around the stage by rolling along floors, walls, and ceilings, although it will be knocked down by attacks. When approached by a Smasher, Glices will stop and release an ice attack which freezes the character. While a player would instinctively try to break free quickly, a Glice will not attack a frozen character, and getting out of the ice as fast as possible usually just allows the Glice to attack again. A Glice can be very annoying on any level of difficulty by making it difficult for the player to reach places. A Glice can be very annoying on any level of difficulty by making it difficult for the player to reach places. When Glice attacks the player on cliffs or high platforms the player can still be stuck in the ice and fall (sometimes being Koed) or if the player escapes he/she may not be able to recover. Equipping Flinch Resistance stickers seems to reduce the chance of being frozen. In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Glices appear as common enemies in Smash Run.
