| - Doctor Venus is a bio-devisor engineer. Her appearance was describe by She-Beast as: "Then this broad- and you know what I mean by 'broad'; she looked like she belonged in Los Angeles, or at the very least New Jersey- walked up and looked at Kate like she was something that the poodle just squat-and-dropped. Said bimbo was tall, a few inches taller than Glor (allowing for the needle heels on her boots), which is saying something, with big fluffy platinum blonde hair, and a body that Playboy would have rejected on the grounds that it exceeded their maximum silicone limit, all wrapped up in a mini-dress that wouldn't leave much to the imagination of a Xerox machine, thigh-high hooker boots, and a long fur coat. Said frat boy's wet dream slid her mirrored shades down her little turned up nose

Said frat boy's wet dream slid her mirrored shades down her little turned up nose and looked icily at Kate." Her current appearance is the result of self-induced bio-engineering. There is some energizer trait mixed with the appearance; the changes are not stable and require constant maintenance. The energizer ability appears to be the ability to generate electromagnetic blasts. She and Jobe have a contentious professional relationship; Jobe is the more efficient bio-devisor but Dr. Venus is the more adventurous one. She is usually surrounded by a contingent of unnaturally handsome, well-muscled men, kept in line by promises of sexual favors (which she seems to at least sometimes deliver on). She recruits her minions from science-fiction fans and other groups of intelligent, but socially isolated (and horny) teenagers, whom she then transforms into buff super-soldiers, which has the double benefit of ensuring that her muscle is smart enough to work her devises when needed. Unfortunately, the process, like that used on herself, is highly unstable, and the minions rarely remain in good health for more than about eighteen months. In order to afford her constant body modifications, her minions, and her (unusual for a devisor) luxury lifestyle, she frequently takes contracts from other mad scientists and supervillains. She also appears to move around a lot. In December 2006, she was in Los Angeles, doing heists on contract for Dr. Macabre (who then stiffed her on the payment), but by early March 2007, she was operating out of Brooklyn. Her mentor in the Mad Science business was the second Doctor Veritas.
