It is known that CSAV Profit was one of several ships owned by Zeak Oppenhiemer around the time of Jabba the Hutt's death. It was around that time when Krackor came looking for work and was picked up by Zeak. Krackor was allowed to use Profit for many of the jobs given to him by Oppenhiemer as well as for personal use and any side jobs that came up. From SW1ki, a Wikia wiki.

Krackor was allowed to use Profit for many of the jobs given to him by Oppenhiemer as well as for personal use and any side jobs that came up. Eventually, Zeak found himself in some kind of trouble and had to disappear from the galaxy at large. In doing so, he passed over ownership of Profit to Krackor, who immediately had the ship's name changed to Edgecrusher and began outfitting the ship with a new paint job and expensive modifications. Since coming into Krackor's possession, the sleek black ILC known as Edgecrusher has seen many adventures across the galaxy. Thousands upon thousands of credits have been spent upgrading her to make the ship faster and hardier as her owner pushes her limits(and his own luck) to the max. From SW1ki, a Wikia wiki.

Travelling the globe to find a new life, he soon found himself impoverished and world-weary, and was forced to take up a position in the military of Tarn to make ends meet.
