- Dress up like a million-dollar trooper Tryin' hard to look like Gary Cooper (super duper) Come let's mix where Rockefellers Walk with sticks or umbrellas In their mitts Puttin' on the ritz Have you seen the well-to-do Up and down Park Avenue On that famous thoroughfare With their noses in the air High hats and arrowed collars White spats and lots of dollars Spending every dime For a wonderful time If you're blue and you don't know Where to go to, why don't you go Where fashion sits? Puttin' on the ritz
- "Puttin' on the Ritz" is a popular song written and published in 1929 by Irving Berlin and introduced by Harry Richman in the musical film Puttin' on the Ritz (1930). The title derives from the slang expression "putting on the Ritz," meaning to dress very fashionably. The expression was inspired by the swanky Ritz Hotel. In order to test out his mind control device in "The Story on Page One", Stewie sings "Puttin' on the Ritz" in the style inspired by the Mel Brooks' film Young Frankenstein, with Chris taking the role of the monster.
- Puttin' on the Ritz is the fourth episode of the tenth season and the 200th overall episode of Grey's Anatomy.
