His body was made of taffy and his eyes were sourballs; he wore a chocolate coat with marshmallow buttons and a peppermint collar. He kept his nature a secret, knowing that he'd be eaten if it were known. Dorothy Gale, the Cowardly Lion and Sir Hokus of Pokes encountered Bangladore while lost in the forest. The Lion bit him, resulting in a mouthful of taffy, and he stumbled and fell. Upon learning that the giant was candy, Dorothy promised that they would keep his secret if he would set them down on the edge of the forest and give them all his buttons for lunch.
