The Legend of Shadow and Light documents the plight of Quinn and a chosen few against impossible odds. Can humanity survive? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reviews: 25 of 25 people found the following review helpful5.0 out of 5 stars 'Unique and Thrilling, Fox Lee's novel is different from any other novel I've read so far. It combines such a variety of elements that it would be impossible to get bored while reading it. In my opinion, you can't read this and think "Well, I've read something like this before..." because it's unique. I absolutely love the mix of genres - historical, dark fantasy, etc. -, not to mention that I've always enjoyed reading books which had some kind of connection to the Second World War. The "evil"/dark characters are well-built (the Dark One is scary!). "Into the Darkness" offers a new take on the zombie apocalypse so fans of the genre will definitely like it. Overall, it is a worth-reading novel, gripping and engaging that can satisfy a vast array of tastes: fantasy, historical, thriller, zombie-story, etc. 15 of 15 people found the following review helpful5.0 out of 5 stars Pure Evil in Monstrous Form..., Born of complete terror and raised as Hitler's darling, the dark one is a bloated, bloodthirsty, slimy horror.that causes the blood of each person who beholds it to turn completely cold. Seemingly unstoppable, it awaits its reign on earth in the bowels of the earth until it can gain enough strength to manipulate those of weak or bad character above. Step-by-step it gains power and wreaks destruction and death in every corner of the planet. Who can stop it? Surely not this "average Joe" whose only "super power" seems to be that he's lucky at games of chance and with the ladies... But, with help from strange and powerful beings, he -- along with the hapless woman he picked up at the bar -- will be trained to fight the biggest fight anyone has ever had to fight. But can he do it? The outlook isn't terribly positive but only successive volumes will tell the tale to its grand end. There is much to recommend "Into the Darkness": Action, , sacrifice, death on a grand scale, heroes and villains tearing at the very fabric of "right vs. wrong" and -- oh, yes -- apocalyptic zombie swarms. What else does a reader need? Get your copy of "Into the Darkness" and embark upon its broad journey to the showdown of the epoch... 5.0 out of 5 stars 'One of the best Novels in it's genre for a long time, What a fun read. Great work Fox Lee! Loved the storyline and characters. It was an action packed, suspenseful, and a very exciting read. All the right ingredients for a Zombie fiend :-) The story is captivating because the writer explains it in minute details. The characters are amazingly believable. You really get a sense that you're in the story. Looking forward to reading more books in this series. Buy this book and hold onto your kindle tight for an action-filled ride. Links:
