| - Nation Song Contest 124 was the 124th edition of the Nation Song Contest and was hosted in Karkkana, Begonia following their 3rd place finish in the previous contest, after winner Waloria declined to host and runner-up Llama Republic withdrew from the edition altogether. It was the second time the contest was held in Begonia (the first time being NSC 33), and their first hosting since their return after a long hiatus. The theme of the contest was "#backToTheRoots", and the presentation of the entire edition was done in the Begonian language, with nation names translated into the Begonian equivalent. Hashtag codes were also provided to identify each nation, as the names were prone to considerable variation from the original. Kamandé was able to return to the contest this edition after their last participation in NSC 74 fifty editions earlier, following the withdrawal of Anselmsmumonia. They were considered favourites to win after qualifying to the final, and managed a successful comeback in the top half. The victory prize this edition instead went to Doire, for the third time.
