Both games are set in a world infested with a seemingly inexhaustible supply of zombies, which results in both humans and zombies being violently dispatched frequently. Both games feature an extreme level of gore, with both zombies and people being attacked, shot, stabbed and dismembered. Both games feature coarse language from characters. The Walking Dead: Season One puts a heavy emphasis on its characters, and asks the player to make life or death decisions that effect other characters, and kill dozen of zombies in the process. Both games features gun violence and graphic melee violence.
- The Walking Dead is an American horror television drama series developed by Frank Darabont and is based on a comic series of the same name. The series is about Rick Grimes, a man who gets shot in the line of duty and awakens from a coma to find the world dominated by the walking dead. He sets out to find his family and encounters many other survivors along the way. As viewers are drawn into characters' personal stories, they will see each character's continuing efforts to survive while wrestling with complex moral questions, along with vividly violent action sequences as the undead try to take over.
