Large craters have turned into lakes as ice pockets left behind by meteor impacts melted and flooded them which eventually helped create an atmosphere. The intense heat and comfortable distense from Acrid and Mopis ensure that the planet stays at a comfortable temperature and made it possible for vegetation to grow. Much of Mopis's surface is covered in moss, short grass, and large fungal growths. It later became colonized by Acrid's inhabitants and turned into an agrarian colony.
