It was intended to be the primary weapon of the Middle Eastern Coalition Spec Ops kit, but was eventually replaced by the AKS-74u in the final game. Renders of the weapon model were released and the weapon was still included in Modern Combat's Official Prima Guide as the MEC Spec Ops' weapon. It would have performed identically to the AKS-74u, having a high rate of fire but a short effective range.
