| - You encounter a mage wandering through the forest. He notices you and approaches. 'Have you noticed how dangerous its becoming in these forests? There is something happening to the plants and trees; they are beginning to attack travellers passing through, without reason. Something needs to be done! Would you be willing to assist me?'
- You arrive back at the Mage to find him fighting off several large Eld Oaks. You must help the Mage fight off the massive beasts.
- 'Did you manage to get the items I asked for?' The Mage inquires.

| - 'Excellent work.' The Mage takes the items in his hand, clasping them tightly. He spreads his hands, and raises them into the air while muttering some incoherent words of ancient elvish. The forest falls silent and the air begins to tingle as the Mage completes his chant. He turns to you. 'It is done. Time will tell if this spell lasts. Thank you again for your help, friend.' With that said, the Mage turns and disappears into the depths of the forest. You are left feeling invigorated.
You gain 10,000,000 XP and 10 Skill Points.
- You help to destroy the last of the Eld Oak, the rest recede back into the depths of the forest. 'Thank you for your help back there, friend. Without your help, I would have certainly been slain.'
- 'Excellent. I believe casting a certain spell should keep this forest at ease, and should hopefully prevent any further travellers from getting attacked. Bring me a leaf and fragment of bark from the Gnawer and Eld Oak tree, those two items from each plant should be sufficient for the spell to work.'
