Federico Vespucci was a Venetian merchant who had traveled to Grantville and returned to his home with a large assortment of modern dolls and figurines, which he hoarded and sold higher prices to collectors. Vespucci sold a single Barbie doll to his cousin and co-worker, Sergio Antonelli.
