- The Earth Shrine is an area in the Ninjago Caves. It is accessed through the Cave of Black Echoes, which in turn is accessed through the Cave of Ancient Ways. When Sensei Wu and the four ninjas settled into the Ninjago Monastery, he hid the Scythe of Quakes in the Earth Shrine to protect it from the skeletons. The army was nonetheless still able to punch through into the Ninjago caves, where Chopov attempted to take control of the Scythe. Players are tasked by Wu to recover the Scythe from the Shrine to protect it.
