  • Dingaan was First Seen in the Gosa Mob as a subordinate adult male. He was described as being a brave and strong male who often climbed great heights when on sentry duty. However, his judgement on what is dangerous was often considered poor as he would raise alarm at non-threatening creatures. The Gosa had suffered a group split leaving the mob with only a few members, Dingaan was among the smaller half led by a pregnant female called Cleopatra. Cleopatra sadly lost her pups, which resulted in great instability among the remaining Gosa members. The occurence caused the group to split up once again. Dingaan was part of the half led by a pregnant female named Delilah. However the two gangs reunited. After Delilah gave birth to her pups, Cleopatra made the Gosa move burrows which resulted in Delilah's pups being abandoned. In her distress, Delilah made the Gosa split once more. Dingaan, Brutus and Napoleon stayed with Delilah. Eventually though, the four meerkats teamed back up with the rest of the Gosa. In July 2012 the dominant male Gandalf disappared. Dingaan and the other older males showed no interest in becoming dominant male, so a young meerkat named Starsky established dominance. In the following month a wild male named Malaki joined the group and took up dominance. The dominant female Cleo soon gave birth to a new litter. Dingaan is still alive today in the Gosa.
