| - Details: In 1964, an eighteen-year-old English woman named Delia Fazzani-Goldie learned that she was pregnant, and that the father did not want the child. She feared her father, and hid the pregnancy for several months before she had to tell the truth. Mr. Fazzani immediately sent his daughter to a maternity home run by a convent, where Delia soon gave birth to a daughter whom she named Michelle. Sadly, Delia had to give up Michelle, but was able to include a letter for Michelle explaining this was not what Delia wanted. The nuns said this would be a closed adoption, with the only indication that Michelle would be adopted by an American couple, and that the husband was a US Air Force enlisted man stationed at RAF Molesworth. Delia's father died in 1976, and Delia's mother passed away in 1991. Prior to her passing Mrs. Fazzani revealed to Delia on her deathbed that she learned the name of Delia's adoptive parents - Walters - and implored Delia to find her granddaughter. Extra Notes: This case first aired on the August 12, 1992 episode. Results: Solved. In July of 1992, Delia learned that Michelle had been renamed Laura Walters-Frankland, and an adoption's official agreed to send a letter that Delia had written to her that said she would be on Unsolved Mysteries and asked her to view the broadcast. Laura called the telecenter and asked to be put in touch with her mother, and a few weeks later, the two were reunited at Syracuse International Airport. Links: None
