Dark Awakenings is an adventure module found in Dragon Magazine 382, and written by Chris Sims.[Dr382:74] It is designed for one first-level character, with a secondary character, and can be played without the assistance of a GM. This adventure module being with the player character, and his goblin companion, being disturbed by tainted roots that try pulling them to a chasm. The PC currently has a foggy memory, and eventually discoveres that he needs to enter the chasm and rescue the other companions in the adventuring group.
