  • Previous - Reich in Civil War! (CYOAH) Churchill decides it would be best to enter negotiations with the various members of the British Empire in 1952. By now one of the longest serving Prime Minister's of the United Kingdom, he knew that when he died, the empire would fall, and Britain would be reduced to second rate power. The conference started after the arrival of the delegates from around the Empire, including Canada, Australia, India, France, Germany, the African colonies, and New Zealand, and Churchill realized he was in the fight of his life. The various countries demanded that Britain would withdraw from interfering in the countries internal policies, foreign policy be directed by a congress of the various parts of the Empire or by the nations themselves, and trade relations be opened up with both the Soviet Union and the USA, and Germany and France especially be allowed to choose their own government. Churchill, hoping to calmly deal with their problems, then continue with the status quo, is stunned. He knows that if he refuses, the empire may boil over into civil war, but if he accepts, the Empire will collapse. What does he do? * Accept * Refuse * Try to compromise Created by Tbguy1992 01:32, August 16, 2010 (UTC)
