Shahnam Bardiya Gorgin Pesuna, or simply Shahnam I, was the Shah of Aldegar and ruler of the royal House of Pesuna until his death on 13th October 4147. Born on 12th February 4080 in Aldegaria, he ruled Aldegar from January 4138. He was the son of Gorgin Pesuna, his predecessor as the leader of the House of Pesuna, and his second cousin Shahla Ardeshir. Shahnam was the first Aldegarian Shah from the House of Pesuna.

Born on 12th February 4080 in Aldegaria, he ruled Aldegar from January 4138. He was the son of Gorgin Pesuna, his predecessor as the leader of the House of Pesuna, and his second cousin Shahla Ardeshir. Shahnam was the first Aldegarian Shah from the House of Pesuna. Additionally, Shahnam controversially used the title 'Divine Emperor of the He Dynasty' as well as several others which came with it. Whether or not he was the legitimate heir to these titles or whether he should use them even if he is, is a matter of debate. In particular his insistence on using 'King of Baltusia' prompted an international stand-off between Aldegar and Baltusia.
