Ukolo was a hamlet of Azuposi humans in the Pasocada Basin in Maztica. It was the center of the Azuposi's turquoise-mining operation. Raw turquoise was exported from Ukolo to other settlements such as Michaca or Opallinoc, where it was refined into jewellery and other valuable items.
