King Melkos was a tyrannical ruler. He taxed his subjects beyond their means and created foul laws such as one that gave him "Wedding Night Rights" with all new brides. He was beset by rebels led by Jordis and Rheanna who were assisted by Hercules and Iolaus. Melkos was finally overthrown and exiled from the kingdom.
