The Zastava M77 is a battle rifle developed and manufactured by Yugoslav Zastava Arms factory. Although the USSR never hand any battle rifle in their arsenal, the M77B1 is actually a modified Zastava M70, itself an modified copy of the Soviet AKM, but with an enlarged barrel, Western type flash eliminator added and chambered in also Western, the 7.62x51mm caliber.
