Jose Antonia da Palma (1898-November 1940) was a Labour Party councillor active in the Fulham area. Da Palma was elected to Fulham Borough Council in 1934, where he became leader of the majority Labour group. With the outbreak of war he became chief air raid warden for the borough, and served as Mayor of Fuham in 1939-40. He died suddenly of heart failure while visiting Oxford, aged 44.
