Stephen McGann (born 2nd February 1963 in Kensington, Liverpool) played Sean Reynolds in Emmerdale between 1999 and 2002. He is the youngest of the four McGann brothers, who also consist of Joe, Paul and Mark. In 1995, he starred alongside his brothers in the British-Irish co-production The Hanging Gale. Stephen has also appeared in Casualty, Doctors, Juliet Bravo, Bergerac, Brookside, Boon and The Bill. Since 2012, Stephen has had a main role in the highly-acclaimed BBC drama series Call the Midwife, playing Dr Turner.
