| - Whitney Keyes (born January 2, 1968, in Phoenix, Arizona) is an American Web TV show host, consultant, motivational speaker, and blogger. Best known as the host, writer, and producer of WhitneyandWyatt.com, a bi-monthly Internet television talk show for women, she currently does business as Whitney Keyes Productions, based in Seattle, Washington. Keyes grew up in Tacoma, Washington, where she attended nearby Pacific Lutheran University. She studied theater and communication arts and received a B.F.A. in journalism and public relations in 1989. After managing her family's Keyes Minas Contemporary Craft Gallery until its closure in 1994, she went to work for the City of Tacoma's Economic Development Division. In 1997, she joined Microsoft, where she helped create the company's first corporate social responsibility report, managed the launches of Windows CE and Office 2000, and led some of Microsoft's first online, viral, and social marketing initiatives. As a corporate spokesperson, Keyes traveled across the United States representing Microsoft, and worked directly with Bill Gates, helping him prepare for interviews and photo shoots with publications including The Wall Street Journal. Keyes is currently a business consultant and speaker who has presented to groups including the Federal Communications Bar Association and Small Business Administration.. She has been called a "marketing and PR guru" by The Arc Magazine. In addition to serving as co-producer, -writer, and -host of WhitneyandWyatt.com, she also co-hosts and produces a radio show about marketing for small businesses, The Rick and Whitney Show. She also writes articles and produces videos for The Biz Bite, a business blog for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, and along with her WhitneyandWyatt.com co-host Wyatt Bardouille, writes the P-I's indie-production blog The Producer's Life.
