Upon his crowning as Emperor, he took the last name Sapyr, as Miriette had insisted in her will. His rule secured the reign of the new Sapyr dynasty over the Corellian Empire, and his godmother was recognized as its first ruler, although she had no blood relation to the line. Revan , Miriette's niece, recognized him as her cousin, despite his initial dislike for her, and included him as part of her family. Eventually he came to accept Revan, and formed a liaison between himself and her Thorn Jedi. He was the only new Sapyr to be recognized as part of the original Sapyr family, however, due to his wife's refusal to have her children considered "relatives" of a former Sith Lord.
