The Motion-Sensor Bomb (センサー爆弾, Sensā Bakudan) is an item from in the Super Smash Bros. series that appears in Super Smash Flash and Super Smash Flash 2. When set down, it sticks on the ground remaining immobile, if something touches it, whether it is by a player, an attack or another item, it will explode, dealing great damage and knockback. In SSF, as it is in Super Smash Bros. Melee, the Motion-Sensor Bomb sports its design from GoldenEye 007; for SSF2, it now sports a custom design that is still very reminiscent to Golden Eye 007's

- The design of the Motion bomb was changed when the game came overseas. The original design was based on Mines from Perfect Dark but, the design was changed to the mines from Goldeneye 007. It has been made "Top Secret" as Nintendo wanted to remove the Rare references from the game as they were selling owned by Rare. The design of the motion bomb changed in Brawl likely to lower the resemblance to weaponry and remove the design reference. The design was changed once again in Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS. It now looks a lot more menacing and noticeable.
- The Motion-Sensor Bomb (センサー爆弾 Sensā Bakudan?, lit: Sensor Bomb), Proximity Mine in PAL versions of Super Smash Bros. Melee, is an item seen throughout the entire Super Smash Bros. series that will attach itself to the nearest solid part of the stage when thrown, be it ground, wall, or ceiling. It will then stick there until something hits it, be it an attack, a character or an item. It will explode on anyone regardless who throws it on the surface. If touched, it will explode and deal out a great deal of damage and knockback. May also explode if attacked as an item, but as it is small it is hard to hit (and see).

When lying on the ground after spawning, it will be gray, but once activated, it'll glow green and beep quietly to warn the players. One can attach the Motion-sensor Bomb to the side of a stage by rolling into the edge of the stage and jumping and throwing it down. In the NTSC and PAL Melee beta, it was going to be a mine from Perfect Dark, but was changed to the one in Goldeneye 007.
