Tiz ist der einzige Überlebende des Unglücks und wird nach Caldisla gebracht, wo er auf die anderen drei Krieger des Lichts trifft. Da Tiz seine Familie und Freunde bei der Katastrophe in Norende verlor, ist er sich seiner Bestimmung zunächst unsicher. Erst als er auf Agnès Oblige trifft, welche in ihm ein großes Pflichtgefühl weckt, kann er damit beginnen, die schrecklichen Ereignisse zu verarbeiten. Nachdem er zusammen mit Ringabel und Edea Lee die lange Reise zur Reinigung der Kristalle antritt, fasst er auch den Beschluss, Norende wieder aufzubauen. Von seinen Begleitern wird Tiz als naive aber freundliche Person beschrieben. In seinem Körper ruht die Seele eines Himmlischen Wesens, nämlich die des Spielers.
