Dream Eater Bug (also called simply Bug) is the main villain and final boss of Parodius ~Tako wa Chikyū o Sukū~, the first Parodius game. Bug is a space entity who feeds on dreams. He got attracted to Earth and started to eat people's dreams and hopes. Tako, who programmed people's dreams, decided to fight the monster, calling his friends Vic Viper, Pentarou, Goemon and Popolon to help him. Bug sends his minions to fight Tako, but they are all defeated, as Tako and his friends enter his fortress and finally defeat Bug.
