  • Polyphemus is the second of three gas giants and the fourth planet orbiting the star Alpha Centauri A (ACA) in the Alpha Centauri System, the other Gas Giants being aptly named Alpha Centauri and Omega Centauri. Slightly smaller and denser than Jupiter, Polyphemus has no rings and fourteen moons, the most notable being Pandora. Originally, the planet's name was Coeus.
  • Polyphemus is the second of three gas giants orbiting Alpha Centauri A (ACA).
  • Polyphemus, or Cyclops, is one of the uncivilized cyclopes whose island Odysseus comes to soon after leaving Troy. Polyphemus imprisons Odysseus and his crew and tries to eat them, but Odysseus blinds him through a clever ruse and manages to escape. In doing so, however, Odysseus angers Polyphemus's father, Poseidon.
  • Polyphemus appears during the "Flight" mission of the Saradomin Strikes campaign. During the campaign, Polyphemus fights alongside soldiers such as the pyrelord Pazuzu in east Misthalin, near what is now Varrock. Polyphemus ultimately meets his death during the battle(although the player can choose not to kill him in the mission). Polyphemus's name is taken from a cyclops in The Odyssey, a real-world Greek epic poem attributed to the writer Homer.
