Aurin’s parents were both mercenaries hired into the same ship’s crew. They eventually grew closer than professional and it wasn’t long after that, they realized a child was on the way. They decided to get out before anyone could tell anything was up and attempt raising Aurin in a less violent environment. They decided to get out before anyone could tell anything was up and attempt raising Aurin in a less violent environment. So they waited for an opportune moment, stole a large chunk of the crew’s earnings and a relatively small ship to take to Dagobah and settled down there. Views of the Nightsisters were passed on down her mother’s side, eventually reaching her. Unfortunately though, her family’s line hadn’t been in contact with an actual coven for a few generations so her information was incomplete, only really proving to make having to chose between the different ‘sides’ of the force make little sense later on. She had learned the basics of 9 powers by the time a ship was seen approaching their location and she was told to hide. It turned out that the crew they’d ripped off had finally, somehow honed in on their location and were still quite unhappy. Her parent’s weren’t spared and their belongings, looted. She couldn’t shake the guilt of having not done anything to help, so she eventually found her way off the planet, using a communication device to call for rescue. After a short time off-planet, she learned of Jedi and decided that maybe she could redeem herself through them.
