Mekorig the Blind is a minor character mentioned in Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor. He was an incredible smith, Master of the Mekorig foundry, and crafted many of the great artifacts found on Antagarich. It's not known when he was born or died, but some of his artifacts were forged around 780-800 AS. Mekorig crafted the Graceful Sword, the Mighty Halberd, Gibbet, the Forge Gauntlets, and Mind's Eye, and wielded Mekorig's Hammer. The Noble Plate Armor also came from his forge, but bore the initials of his son, Kasev Mekorig.

He hoped this would help end the Age of Monsters and promote the Age of Man, but the spear often went missing for years. Adventurers would find it in some dragon's hoard, and felt inspired to attempt to claim another dragon's hoard, causing the spear to go missing again.
