Bbrainz (sometimes stylized as "bbrainz" or "BBRAINZ") is the vaporwave alias of music producer Matias Leopoldo. Leopoldo began producing vaporwave under the name Bbrainz in mid-2013. Bbrainz is known for his very retro and colorful visual style. Much of his cover art draws influence from the 1980's and 1990's.

In 2016, Leopoldo was inadvertently caught in the midst of a controversy involving the use of his song "home design (ft. CASTING)" as the intro of YouTuber NFKRZ's videos. CASTING, the featured artist of the song, demanded that NFKRZ pay $1000 to him or face legal persecution. This all occurred despite the facts that Leopoldo had already given NFKRZ permission to use the song and that the song the intellectual property of Leopoldo.
